In this city where Anna Chromy creates all her sculptures her "Don Giovanni"
group had its premiere in the beautiful Sant` Agostino church.
At the turn of the year 2004/2005 took place in Sant` Agostino and on Cathedral Square the exhibition “Il Canto di Orfeo”.
It was no coincidence that Anna Chromy
chose Mozart's "Don Giovanni" as the theme of her first major group
of sculptures. Anny Chromy spends much time in the composers home town of Salzburg
and got her first inclinations towards sculpture in Prague, her mothers home town
and the city where Mozart had his most enthusiastic public.
After Botero, Mitoraj,
Folon and Cascella Anna Chromy has been honored by the city of Pietrasanta with
a sculpture in a prominent Square of the city center. The picture shows the Marionette
Dancer exhibited in Sant `Agostino, Pietrasanta during the show "Donna
Scultura", before its final positioning in Piazza dello Statuto.
