On the most famous beach in Tuscany, in front of the "Pontile", the mole originally built by Michaelangelo to charge his marble blocks for their voyage to Rome, the city authorities created a new square on a theme proposed by Anna Chromy, featuring the constellations which can be seen on the 21st of june each year (summer solstice), and a "Controvento" or "Ulysses" in the center of the square.

The constellation consists of a "Controvento" in the center and "Lyra", "Cigno", "Orsa Minore" and "Cassiopeia" surrounding him.

Assignment of a small Controvento/Ulysses, in the Town Hall of Forte dei Marmi, to the General Commander of the Italian Coast Guard Admiral Luciano Dassati for his achievements in the protection of the environment, and “Hoist the Blue Flag” at the Pontile.
