This beautiful region, home to the great geniuses of the past, like Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, has remained up to our days the center of European sculpture. No wonder that Anna Chromy was also attracted by this creative atmosphere and established her second home in Pietrasanta.
Most of her sculptural works can be seen here, either on public squares like in Forte dei Marmi, the Italian Saint Tropez, the barbour of Portofino, the University of Pisa or in the foundries and studios of Pietrasanta, the little Athens as it proudly names itself.
