Following-up on the success of the exhibition "A Sound of Bronze" on "Ovocny trh" in front of "Stavovske Divadlo", part of the exposed sculptures - the four musicians and marionet dancer by Anna Chromy - were permanently installed as a fountain on "senovážné námesti", a square in the old town, where Mozart was enthusiastically welcomed by the citizens of Prague when he first set foot in this city.

The "Sound of Bronze" or "Music of the Rivers", as the group is called, is a tribute of Anna Chromy to the city where she received as a child her forming inspirations and which she has continued to love above every other city in the world, and like a mirror the people of Prague seen to return this admiration for her works.

The fountain was inaugurated by the President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus. A video "Sound of Bronze" on Anna Chromy in Prague is available through info@annachromy.com.

The literary myth of Don Juan and the marionette theatre are intimately linked. In central Europe and especially in Bohemia it were the travelling companies of marionette players who propagated the legend of Don Juan throughout the centuries and still today you can find the large wooden marionettes of the National Marionette Theatre in Prague in a performance of Mozart's Don Giovanni.

As a tribute to this long tradition the City of Prague has decided to install the "Marionette Dancer" of Anna Chromy next to the "Czech Musicians" on Senovážné Námesti.
