A "Commendatore" or "Pieta" in front of the entrance of "Stavovske Divadlo", only 50 meters from the old town hall and its famous clock, serves as a reminder that the "Don Giovanni" of Mozart had its grand opening in this beautiful opera on october 29th 1787.
Following-up on the success of the exhibition "A Sound of Bronze"
on "Ovocny trh" in front of "Stavovske Divadlo", part of the exposed sculptures - the four musicians and marionet dancer by Anna Chromy - were permanently installed as a fountain on "senováné námesti", a square in the old town, where Mozart was enthusiastically welcomed by the citizens of Prague when he first set foot in this city.
The "Sound of Bronze" or "Music of the Rivers", as the group is called, is a tribute of Anna Chromy to the city where she received as a child her forming inspirations and which she has continued to love above every other city in the world, and like a mirror the people of Prague seen to return this admiration for her works.
