On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of his rule over the Principality H.R.H.
Prince Rainier received from the "Friends of the Opera of Monte-Carlo"
a "Carmen" by Anna Chromy. To show his delight with the work
Prince Rainier decided to install it in his private gardens at the Grimaldi Palaces,
where it joined another sculpture of Anna - her "Pieta". (Therefore
restricted access for visitors).
