In this village several kilometers south of Salzburg Herbert von Karajan found his last resting place. To honour its most famous resident the authorities decided to install his portrait in bronze by Anna Chromy in front of the churchyard. It was recently joined by another portrait by Anna Chromy of count Johannes von Moy, honorary citizen of the town and once owner of the beautiful Castle Anif.
